MILK-TEA SHOPS / FIT-OUT & RENOVATION

Good service starts behind the counter.

A milk-tea shop fit-out connects the queue, ordering, preparation and collection with the work happening behind the counter. Sunny undertakes milk-tea shop renovation, with the scope shaped around your premises and operating needs.

Design around the service sequence

Trace a customer’s visit from arrival to ordering, payment, waiting, collection and exit. Then trace the staff route through preparation, storage and cleaning. Looking at both routes makes potential conflicts visible before the counter is fabricated.

A take-away shop and a shop with seating may need different arrangements. The available frontage, entrance, equipment and menu all influence the plan. A reference image can help express a visual direction, but the working layout needs to respond to the actual shop.

Confirm equipment before fixing the counter

Compile the equipment list, dimensions and supplier requirements early. Counter joinery needs to work with the placement, connections and maintenance access of the items it contains. Mark which items the operator, brand or another supplier will provide.

Water, drainage, electrical provision and ventilation should be coordinated for the actual premises and equipment by the responsible specialists. Confirm the scope and responsibilities rather than assuming that every service is already suitable because a previous business occupied the space.

Separate the renovation budget from the opening budget

A shop-opening budget can include equipment, stock, deposits, operating expenses and other items beyond construction. A renovation quotation should make its own boundary clear: preparation, partitions, finishes, counter and storage, lighting, services and agreed installation work.

Compare quotations using the same plan and specification. Ask what is provisional, what is excluded and which decisions remain open. Without that information, a single total can hide substantial differences in the work being offered.

Bring brand requirements into the brief

For a branded or franchise shop, provide the current layout, finish and signage requirements that apply to your premises. Identify who needs to review decisions and how changes are agreed. Brand approval, landlord coordination and the construction scope are separate parts of the project conversation.

Sunny’s current work includes Mixue milk-tea shop renovation. Bring your brand requirements and premises information into the first conversation. Each project needs its own review of the layout, scope and existing conditions.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few things worth knowing.

Can you work with an existing brand design?

Share the current drawings and requirements with Sunny so that the scope can be discussed. Confirm who is responsible for brand review, equipment supply and changes to the design.

What affects the cost of a milk-tea shop fit-out?

Existing conditions, counter and equipment needs, finishes, service changes and access all affect the work. An itemized scope is more useful than a price based only on floor area.

How long will the renovation take?

The proposed sequence depends on the confirmed scope, site access, approvals, material availability and equipment coordination. Discuss your intended opening date before a programme is agreed.
